Vendor Managed Inventory

Does your storeroom lack control and organization? Is your inventory data accurate? Is stock replenishment time consuming? Do you have excess inventory, but never what you need? If so, you should learn more about Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).

VMI offers storeroom solutions and is easy to implement. Webb will modernize and organize your storeroom, lower inventory investment, and free up warehouse space.

We will automate your stockroom with a Bar Code System improving timeliness, employee effectiveness, accuracy, and speed of delivery. VMI eliminates order entry errors and paper work.

Webb assists the customer in organizing the stockroom area, identifying current use inventory as well as obsolete material. Areas of duplication are highlighted. Bin labels are provided with customer's or Webb's product ID number and bar-coded. Min-Max quantities are established.

On a weekly basis, Webb's vendor inventory person monitors the quantity and orders via bar-code reader and modem for next day delivery. Quarterly, nine VMI specialists meet with purchasing to review performance and inventory levels. VMI customers benefit from greatly reduced inventory, transaction costs, space required, and process efficiency.
